Chartered Work & Organisational Psychologist

  • My focus is supporting people to effect change as a Psychologist and through Holistic Counselling Psychotherapy.


About me

I am a Chartered Psychologist with PSI (Work & Organisational), a Counselling Psychotherapist with (Pre-accredited IACP), experienced in online, phone and face to face work with clients.  My clients say I am a warm, compassionate, and supportive psychologist and therapist.  My focus as a psychologist and therapist is on offering all my clients therapy and psychology based on best practice and evidence.  I combine Psychology and Counselling Psychotherapy skills and practice with an open empathic presence as I accompany clients on their journey. I have a flexible, integrative approach, drawing from Humanistic, CBT and other disciplines, so that each individual client and I collaborate on what will work best. My work is supported by CPD and  I attend regular supervision.


Previous work experience

As a Psychologist and therapist, I have taught/worked/consulted/provided therapy in various settings (EAP providers, HSE, Mary Immaculate College, Clare Suicide Support, LGT (Galway), UL counselling service, and including Health and Wellbeing Advisor with Dept. of Education (4 years)+ Associate (1+yrs). Previously: Teacher (mainly in SEN) in St Flannan’s College, Curriculum developer NCCA.

  • Narrative Exposure Therapy (Erema Institute); Diplomas in CBT, PTSD & Trauma, Forensic Psychology  The Heart of Trauma webinar series; CAMS (UL); 
  • CBT for OCD; Violence against Women, CBT for Depression; 
  • Social Wellbeing, Trauma and Dissociation. Solution Focused Brief Therapy (PSI and U.L.), ACT workshops; 
  • Positive Psychology for success, Motivational Interviewing and lots more.
